Poha

 Ingredients:
flat rice poha 1 1/2 cup 
medium s ized onion chopped 1 
oil 1/2 tbsp
asafatida a pinch 
green chillies chopped 3 
medium sized potato chopped small 1 
curry leaves washed and chopped a few 
mustard seeds 1/2 tsp
cumin seeds 1/2 tsp
turmeric a pinch
salt to taste
fresh coriander leaves chopped a few 
Lemon juice
method
  1. Heat the oil, add asafatida, mustard seeds, cumin seeds and let them crackle.

  2. Add green chillies, curry leaves, onions and potatoes. Add salt and turmeric. Stir and cover.

  3. The potatoes should cook after 5-6 minutes, if not and the masala is sticking to pan, sprinkle some water and cover again.

  4. When potatoes are done, lightly wet the rice poha in a colander. Do not soak it or it will become a complete mush.

  5. Add to the masala, stir till the poha gets completely coated. Cover and cook for a minute.

  6. Add juice from half a lemon and fresh coriander leaves chopped.
